Some property managers are getting asked by owners regarding the new letting fee “Why can’t you just charge me a fixed rate, because whether you’re renting a $300 per week or a $1000 per week property, its the same amount of work right?”

If you are wanting to charge a fee based on a weekly rent (for example 1 week rent) then firstly you need to understand that if you really charged how much time it takes at the hourly rate you really should be charging, then this fee rate will be much too high for them, making your weekly rent rate much more affordable for them.
